See anyone you recognize? This character sheet was inspired by my fellow classmate but exaggerated past recognition with proportion and stylization.

FAMILIAR CHARACTERS

This character sheet served as both the foundation and creative launchpad for my animated sequence. Originally part of a character design assignment, I pushed the concept further by experimenting with stylized proportions, color exploration, and digital tools outside my comfort zone.

Though color wasn't a required component, I challenged myself to incorporate it meaningfully—highlighting the character’s earthy, powerful presence.

The designs were inspired by people in my class, but exaggerated far beyond recognition to create a unique lineup. Teaching myself Photoshop and adapting to my drawing tablet’s screen calibration, I demonstrated not only my grasp of fundamental design principles but also my adaptability and technical growth.

paper sketches

This is my first sketch out of the characters and practice in exaggerating the features and shapes in order to build personality in the characters.

Digital Sketch

This is the collection of selected sketches formatted together on Ibis Paint X on my phone, ready for finalization and coloring.
